Solid Waste Agency FY'26 Operating & Capital Budget Public Hearing

The Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency Board of Directors placed the Agency’s FY'26 operating and capital budget on file for public review. A presentation about the budget can be viewed HERE. A copy of the budget can be viewed HERE and a letter providing an overview is available HERE.

A public hearing for the FY’26 budget is scheduled for December 17, 2024, 1:30pm, inside Building 948, 2250 A Street SW, Cedar Rapids. The new budget year will begin July 01, 2025. 

The budget contains changes from the previous fiscal year, including increases to the garbage and yard waste tipping fees.
