Hiking for Housing

Join us for Hiking for Housing on September 22, 2024 at Mount Trashmore to support Waypoint! This event will raise awareness about homelessness and providing more housing stability in our community. 

Participants will choose between three different hiking trails:

Trail 1: Waypoint Trail-3.3 miles (round trip)

Trail 2: Stumptown Trail-2 miles (round trip)

Trail 3: Overlook Trail-1.3 miles (round trip)

Pre-Check-in: 

September 20: 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Waypoint (Grab your shirt and show up ready to hike on the 22nd) 

Day of Event: 

Check-in: 10:00-10:45 a.m. at Mount Trashmore front entrance  
Hike: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

After the hike, enjoy an after-event lunch at Pickle Place in Cedar Rapids with fellow participants. (Meal prices are not included in your ticket purchase) 

All proceeds benefit Waypoint's Housing Services, helping over 13,000 individuals every year.

Ticket Options:

• $50 - Adult Ticket (Includes Shirt)
• $35 - Adult Ticket (No Shirt)
• $30 - Kids 12 & Under (Includes Shirt)
• $15 - Kids 12 & Under (No Shirt)

Note: To guarantee a shirt, please purchase your ticket by August 22, 2024.
