Apartment/condo recycling

Recycling isn't just for single-family homeowners. Talk to your landlord or condo association to see how curbside recycling is handled where you live.

If your apartment complex or condo association doesn't offer recycling, encourage them to start. The Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency doesn't offer curbside pickup of recyclables, but we can help you get your program started. Contact us for more information.

You can always drop off your recyclables at one of two locations. The Solid Waste Agency accepts all traditional recyclables as well as appliances, scrap metal, clothing, lumber, batteries, bicycles, electronics and household hazardous materials such as cleaners, oil and paints.
