Facility Tours
Tours of the Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency are available and scheduled through the Solid Waste Agency Education Coordinator. Our Education Coordinator has nearly a decade of classroom experience and is a licensed Iowa teacher. As such, our tours are tailored to group needs and studies. For tours, advance notice is required.
Group Size
Groups of 6 or fewer people can tour the site without need for an additional vehicle. The Agency van is available for groups up to six people. Groups with more than six people will need to provide a vehicle to assist in touring the site.
Groups arriving in buses should inform the bus service that the bus will be required for the duration of the tour.
