Glass: Keep separate from other recyclables and place in glass bin.

Metal: Metal food and beverage cans, aluminum foil and pie pans, metal lids. Keeping labels on cans and bottles is fine.

Paper: Cardboard, catalogs, chipboard (brown or gray when torn), envelopes (including those with windows), file folders, greeting cards, junk mail, paper bags, paper egg cartons, pop & beer cartons, magazines, mixed paper (carbon, colored, computer, fax, laser printer, legal pad, note pad, photocopy,) newspapers, newspaper inserts and telephone books.

Plastic: Containers, bottles and tubs with recycling triangle and numbered 1 through 7. The exception is styrofoam which cannot be recycled in Linn County at this time.
