Bicycles, including stationary bikes, are accepted FREE of charge at either Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency Location.

Bicycles are donated to Working Bikes Cooperative who fixes them if necessary.  Once fixed they're  shipped to developing countries where they are used for transportation and power generation.

Want to keep things local?  Try donating bikes in working condition to Boys & Girls Club, Big Brothers / Big Sisters, our check with local church and school outreach programs - especially those located in our urban core neighborhoods.
